How processing fees work (and what your buyer pays)
Two fees are involved on every paid transfer: a platform fee deducted from your earnings, and a processing fee added on top of your price for the buyer. Both are shown clearly — no hidden charges.
## Platform fee (yours to absorb)
ZeFile takes 7% on Free, 5% on Starter, 3% on Pro from each paid transfer. So on Free, if you sell at 10,000 XOF, you receive 9,300 XOF in your balance.
## Processing fee (the buyer covers it)
Payment providers (Paystack, Wave, MTN, Orange) charge between 2.5% and 4% per transaction depending on country and method. ZeFile passes that exact cost on to the buyer at checkout. So a 10,000 XOF sale with a 3% processing fee shows as 10,309 XOF total to the buyer — and you still receive your full 9,300 XOF (Free) or 9,500 XOF (Starter) or 9,700 XOF (Pro).
